Yes, of course! You must be 18 or older and there is no maximum age. All we need is a copy of your most recent transcripts.
It depends on how many credits you need. Once you show us your high school transcripts and a Guidance Specialist reviews your credits, we can tell you how many classes you need.

If you can spend 15 hours per week on your classes, you should be completing 1 credit per week.
4 months - 1 year, depending on your effort.
The Bolsa location is a GED® testing site, and HBAS students may qualify for FREE Ready® and GED® test vouchers! HBAS students must complete Post Secondary Prep, CASAS testing and have teacher approval in order to qualify. Other terms and conditions may apply.

The GED Ready® test voucher allows a student to take a FREE practice test ($6 value per subject: Math, Science, Social Studies or Reasoning Through Language Arts) and a GED® test voucher allows a student to take one of the four tests for FREE ($35 value per subject: Math, Science, Social Studies, or Reasoning Through Language Arts).
It depends on your CASAS score and what your ESL level is. A teacher recommendation is needed.
Yes. All school communication will go to the school issued email.
Follow this link and use the provided username and password. Do not create your own.
As a WIOA, Title II funded agency, all Diploma and GED students at Huntington Beach Adult School are required to participate in CASAS testing. The CASAS test is used as a placement test to see if your reading skills are at a high school level.

We CASAS post-test students throughout the year to see if your reading skills increase while taking classes.
You will need a new set of test scores every new school year.
  • GED classes are through Aztec Software.
  • High School Diploma courses are provided with Edgenuity.
