Level 5: Academic ESL - American Language, Culture & Government
HBAS has traditionally offered four levels of ESL. Students who complete Level 4 may move on to career training, diploma/GED programs, or higher ESL levels at community colleges. Now, we are thrilled to announce another option for our promoting Level 4 students. Take your English to the next level right here at HBAS with Level 5: Academic ESL!
Who, What and Why?
Are you looking for a fun class to learn more about American culture and history? Are you looking to learn more English or improve your conversation and pronunciation skills? Are you looking to learn more skills for college? If so, welcome to ESL 5!
Join teacher Joe Eustermann in exploring American culture, democracy, and history while at the same time, improving our language, vocabulary, pronunciation, and academic skills to prepare for college, citizenship, or beyond!
Where and When?
Level 5 will be held at our brand new site: Pleasant View in Huntington Beach.
- Mornings: Monday – Thursday, 8:30am-11:30am
- Evenings: Monday – Thursday, 6:00pm-9:00pm
