Policies

HBAS receives State and Federal funding that have restrictions. In order to provide the variety and number of classes and services our community desires, we are not able to support the cost of all classes through these funding sources. Specifically, Career Training classes are only partially subsidized by State funding while Community Enrichment classes require the full cost of instruction to be covered through student fees. English as a Second Language and Adult Secondary Education (Diploma and GED) classes are completely free to students who are at least 18 years old and who are in need of these services.

A $20 non-refundable registration fee is charged in most CTE and Community Enrichment classes.

Materials and lab fees are included in the class fee as much as possible.
