The first semester of the 2020-2021 school year has been a whirlwind, to say the least. We started online, moved partially back on campus in a hybrid model, and then went back online through the end of the semester.
As we continue to work through the impact of COVID-19, we are happy to report that HBAS is taking a closer step towards an in-person learning opportunity. Starting February 2nd, teachers will return to campus to teach from their classrooms.
We are planning for students having the option to return starting February 23rd, but will monitor COVID-19 transmission and hospitalizations information before making a final decision.
With teachers back in their classrooms, we will take this opportunity to provide additional training and preparation so that we can support students' learning preferences of in-person or online. We appreciate your patience and flexibility during these challenging times.
