2021 CTE Ceremony

After our first Drive-Thru CTE Pinning Ceremony was such a hit in 2020, HBAS was thrilled to bring it back this year.  On June 17, students, staff, family and friends gathered at our Gothard Campus to honor our 2020-2021 CTE Program graduates.

While different from the typical pinning ceremony, we love the intimate feel of the drive-thru format.  One by one, students were introduced by Instructor Tracy Foreman.  Each student received their certificate and posed for a photo with Principal Steve Curiel.  CTE teachers and support staff were on hand to congratulate the students they've worked so closely with.  Family and friends who came along for the ride cheered on their graduates and took celebratory photos.

We couldn't be prouder of the 43 students who earned certificates in one (or more) of our 7 career training programs.  During the pandemic, they endured so much uncertainty and fluctuation between in-person and online instruction.  Through it all, they persevered to earn their certificates.  These students are trained and ready for hire—some are already on the job!

Congratulations, CTE class of 2020-2021!  We will continue to reach out and offer support where ever your career path takes you next.
