Substitute Teacher Training Information

Thank you for your interest in substituting for the ESL Department at HBAS - Huntington Beach Adult School. Due to a number of changes (inclusive of our recent reliance on the internet and, specifically, Microsoft Teams as a teaching platform), we have updated our process for deciding that one is prepared to substitute for one of our classes.

 

If you are interested in remaining on our substitute list for the 20-21 school year, we will need you to complete two steps:

 

1) Access, watch, and take a quiz on a video that has been prepared regarding our classroom instruction through the Microsoft Teams platform* Link to video and Quiz here:

 

   

 

 

2) Observe at least one online class for at least an hour.
