High School Diploma *FREE*

HBAS diploma classes are FREE as in absolutely NO OUT OF POCKET COST. 

 

New students enrolling in the High School Diploma program must bring their transcripts to the enrollment. Students who attended an HBUHSD high school within the past 10 years do not need their transcripts since we have access to them. Also, Students must be 18 years old or older, and no longer attending high school, to enroll at HBAS.

HBAS uses Edgenuity, an online software program, for High School Diploma classes.

 

We found that students are most successful when they spend at least 7 hours per week on their classes. Students who spend less than 7 hours are required to come in person for a minimum of 2 hours per week.

 

Tier System

Students who spend less than 1 hour of online attendance in a week will be deactivated.
 
Tier 1.) Students who spend between 1 - 7 hours of online attendance need to contact their teacher for a one-on-one meeting. 
 
Tier 2.) Students who spend 7 or more hours of online attendance in a week are on track for graduation.

  

PLEASE NOTE, as a Title II Funded Agency, All Huntington Beach Adult School Diploma students are required to participate in CASAS testing throughout the year.
